Mainly made from thermoplastic elastomer materials and polycarbonate, this full face gas mask is surprisingly lightweight. Moreover, once worn, it didn’t feel suffocating at all. It was actually very comfortable, even when worn by the rest of the gang with our different face sizes.

…we’re delightfully surprised to know that it can also fit large faces and fit comfortably at that! So that’s it for you who’s looking for a gas mask to fit your face size. 

Although extremely comfortable, it was still quite powerful when it comes to protection. Its clear window has a very wide field of view and won’t obstruct any task that you’d be doing. 

Heck, I even used it while running, and I still had a clear view of everything. 

In addition to that, it’s also designed to be fog-free. So even if you’re using it somewhere humid, there won’t be moisture build-ups at all. 

Aside from the face mask itself, it also comes with two replaceable filter cartridges, two cotton filters, and caps aside from the warranties. 

I found it pretty easy to put together, but if you’re a newbie, you may want to find the instructions first. 

The straps are rubberized, but they’re very thick. Of course, that also contributed to the mask’s perfect seal. 

Its sides are lined with soft silicone, so they’re quite soft on the face while sealing the mask perfectly. 

Thanks to its unobstructed and lightweight design, it’s perfect for a wide range of purposes such as industrial tasks, agricultural, and even some chemical ones. 

But be also aware…

…it works more like a mask for airborne particles, so if you’re looking for something to protect you against chemicals, then you may want to get something for that particular purpose.

Looking very simple in a clear, white, and gray color scheme, it felt like it was nothing while it was on my face. 

It came with 2 filter boxes that I had to twist into the mask, 8 filter cotton, and 2 plastic covers. 

With its price…

…having this kind of package is already a steal. I didn’t expect anything more. 

But lo and behold. 

The seal on the edges was surprisingly excellent. And it’s made from food-grade silicone, too, which is kind of nice because I knew that it’s something safe even for the children (if it will fit them).

The band that you put around the head was sufficiently tight and adjustable, so you can fit it whatever your head size is. 

The filter cotton is replaced every 5 days as recommended, and already having 8 was already a big help. Especially if you find yourself in a survival situation with no chance of going out to go to the store to get new filters!

What about the performance?

It performed like most chemical gas masks in the higher tier. Its activated carbon was able to block small particles and chemical vapor. It felt really safe wearing it. 

Although if you have a considerably chunky head (like me), it could get a bit tight around the nose. But it didn’t beat the feeling of safety I had while wearing it.

What’s better, this lightweight gas mask is full-face, and it’s real big. We got one of our buddies to try it with his facial hair and molly, it did fit well! 

Well, it wasn’t the Hagrid kind of beard. It was just a couple of inches below the chin, but not all gas masks can accommodate that, so it’s still a plus. 

In case you’re wondering…

…it’s mostly made from mixed silicone material, so we’ve already expected it to be soft and comfy. Upon wearing it, it was comfy indeed, but it’s more rigid than I expected but still softer than most gas masks. 

One of the best things about it is it has an excellent sealed edge, again, again, thanks to its material. We tested it in different situations, and not even the slightest smell from the outside was able to penetrate it. 

At best, it’s so well sealed that it felt like it was sucking my face in! And that’s a good thing for a gas mask, obviously. 

It comes with a gas mask filter in five pairs, as well as a storage bag. 

Assembly was a breeze. All I had to do was assemble the filter, and it was good to go. The straps have an elastic feel to them, and they’re also adjustable. Although I found it challenging to adjust them once worn, the mask itself was very easy to remove. 

How about my breathing?

As previously mentioned, it doesn’t have many extra features, but it does have an excellent breathing valve. It’s one way, but it effectively opens and closes whenever I breathe, so the clean air inside is still perfectly intact. 

Moreover, it’s also anti-fog. Now, many gas masks claim to be anti-fog, but only a few actually live up to that promise. And this is one of them. 

We tried it in different temperatures, and never once did it fog. My vision was 100% clear all the time. 

And speaking of vision, it also has a wide field of view, even in peripheral vision, which is quite impressive. 

And best of all, it also never got dislocated even when I moved a lot.  Not to mention, you can also even wear glasses inside!

Looking for all-in-one protection in a gas mask? Then this INCLY mask is the one for you. 

Getting straight to the perks, this mask is not only full-face and perfectly sealed, but it also comes with many freebies such as gloves and ear plugs. 

Their aim is to protect all the parts of your head except for the hair, and I’d say they did a pretty good job with it. 

It doesn’t look too different from other gas masks on this list. But this one has filter cartridges that are a tad bit bigger and a mesh head protection at the back. 

Most of them are made from silicone and ABS plastic. Like the previous mask, this one’s sealing edge is also silicone, so it’s soft and comfortable. 

As for assembly…

…it was a literal walk in the park. All you have to do is carefully put the gas mask filter inside and thoroughly close the cartridges, then you’re good to go. 

And speaking of filters, it comes with twenty pieces of cotton filters, as well as a bag, gloves, ear plugs, cotton filter covers, cartridges, and even a gift box!

And it also has an excellent manual with pictures, so anyone can easily follow it. 

It has a one-way breathing valve, just like the previous mask. But the difference is this one is scratch- and heat resistant, as well as explosion-proof!

Of course, if I were to play airsoft or something like that, I’d use a tougher and more fitting mask. But nevertheless, its quality is a bit above the rest when it comes to durability. 

If anything…

…its size is a bit limited, and if you have a large head, it could feel uncomfortable. And if you’re wondering about glasses, I was able to wear them inside the mask, but only smaller and thinner glasses. And even so, it still felt a bit uncomfortable. 

Of course, a gas mask list won’t be complete without Mira safety gas masks. They’re basically one of the big three in the world of CBRN gas masks. 

This full-face mask is so powerful that it’s even used in some European and Middle Eastern militaries for protection!

That said…

…we’re still as surprised as ever with its price, which is very agreeable considering its impeccable quality that’s already vouched by many military users around the world. 

This respirator is made from butyl and polycarbonate, so don’t panic if you smell rubber on your first use of it. In my case, it disappeared after about two weeks of straight use. 

It has elastic bands that are also adjustable and with large buckles at that, so my hair never got trapped or tangled with them. Kudos for their attention to the smallest details!

Moreover, you can use one or two cartridges with it, your call. If you’re someone who has breathing issues, or if you’re planning to use it for a child, you can attach two cartridges for better and more comfortable breathing.  

And speaking of filters…

…unlike other military gas masks (and regular masks, as well), this one has a life span of twenty years! Considering the filters are sealed, you can keep them fresh for up to twenty years, whereas most gas masks and filters can only last for five years or so. 

Now onto the exciting part.

This mask isn’t only well-designed for protection, but it also comes with an excellent drinking system!

Yes, you’ve read that right. 

It has a Canteen drinking bottle with it that’s connected with a drinking tube. So in case there’s a chemical attack in the city or any similar instances, you won’t have to remove your protective CBRN gas mask whenever you’re thirsty. 

Now, if you have a CamelBak drinking system…

…you’ll be glad to know that this drinking system is also compatible with CamelBak!

In addition to that, it also has a built-in voice diaphragm, so you can still communicate and be heard even while wearing this mask. 

And in case you’re worried about it, yes, you can also wear glasses with it. But if you want, you can also get them separately sold Mira 3M safety 6878 spectacle kit if you have visual issues. 

And that’s not all. 

It may be full-face, but unlike others, it’s compatible with most helmets, so you can still wear it while in full gear!

This full-face mask has dual activated charcoal in its cartridges, so you’re not only protected from debris but also chemical-laden fumes!

Yes, you’ve read that right. 

If you’re looking for a gas mask that can do more, this air purifying respirator is your best bet. Its dual-activated charcoal feature works to absorb any harmful chemical fumes that you might otherwise inhale. 

That said, it was also able to do the bare minimum, which is to filter out the smallest debris while I worked. 

What’s cooler…

…this means that it’s very versatile, too. As a matter of fact, we’re able to use it for protection against chemical spray, paint application, woodwork, and many others. 

So if you’re looking for a particular respirator for your disaster relief bag, this might be it. 

Moreover, it’s not only full-face, so your whole face is protected, but it also allows a wider field of view at an angle of 200 degrees! Yes, it’s much wider than most gas masks. 

As for the size, it’s not very large, although its size states so. It can fit the average adult’s head, but it can also fit a child’s. If you have a large or long head, you may have some difficulty fitting the chin part in. 

On the other hand…

…its lens is impact-resistance, so I was able to wear it with extra confidence while working on my tasks. 

Moreover, it’s also available in the lens colors arctic blue, burnt bronze, inferno red, light amber, and smoke black to fit any task it’s needed in. 

It has a voice diaphragm amplifier, as well, to aid the wearer in communicating while wearing the mask. Although, I still had to repeat myself a few times while wearing it and talking with my mates because the amplifier isn’t as strong as the ones on the other masks. 

It’s easy to assemble, too, though it didn’t come with filters, so I still had to buy some. But after that, it was a breeze to fix and wear, especially the high-density straps that are also adjustable. 

This WAKFLX full-face mask may look beefy, but it’s actually light once it’s on your head. The straps are two-fold and elastic, so the fit was amazingly easy to adjust without feeling irritating or painful. 

The lower part has the filter boxes that came with 12 filter cotton. Not so bad. 

 Inside, the breathing chamber or the area for the nose and mouth is seperated and made with food-grade silicone. 

In case you’re wondering…

…there was no smell at all! And the fit around the mouth and nose was perfect. Five of us tried it and it felt comfortable yet secured at the same time. 

One of the things I liked best about it was the wide field of vision. On the other hand, it’s not as hard as I wanted it to be, making it not so ideal for heavy-duty tasks.

We also got a few air purifying respirators, and this bad boy from MYGCCA proved itself to be one of the creams of the crop.

No, it’s not an air supplied respirator, but it’s a two-way respirator with filters that you can switch around depending on where you’ll be using the mask. 

For one…

…it comes with a pair of filters and filter covers for lighter use and protection against debris and dust. 

But aside from that, you can also remove them and switch them up with the filter canister that’s included in the package. This canister contains activated carbon particles that filter out harmful chemical fumes to protect your respiratory system. 

Putting these filters on is a piece of cake, as well, so even complete beginners can do it by themselves!

But that’s not all there is to it. 

Just like most gas masks, its sealing edge is also made from mixed silicone. But the difference is this one is much, much thicker than usual, so you’re sure that your face is 101% sealed. 

Not to mention, it felt so soft, too, that I forgot at times that I was wearing a badass gas mask!

Although the design of this mask doesn’t allow the usage of eyeglasses, it boasts a strong and large lens for the wearer. It has an unobstructed and large field of view, and it’s also impact-resistant to boot. 

Moreover, the straps are also designed like belts, so they’re very easy to adjust, even when worn!

Military grade gas masks are the perfect options if you’re looking for the ultimate protection against chemical, radiological, biological, and nuclear threats. But they’re not very easy to come by nowadays. 

Good thing…

…we found one of the best CBRN masks on the market. This Super Gum mask is more than just a powered purifying respirator. 

As a matter of fact, it’s developed by the Israeli Ministry of Defense to be used by pros and civilians alike in the most challenging of times. 

This full-face mask is made from a special and high-quality kind of rubber, so it has some weight to it, although I can say that it’s still on the lightweight side. 

But what’s cooler…

…is the fact that this rubber material is actually resistant to CBRN agents, so that’s one big layer of protection for you. 

Moreover, it also comes with a drinking tube! Yes, you’ve read that right. It’s not only the ultimate protection against deadly fumes and debris, but it also allows you to drink for long periods of time wearing it. 

It’s just a shame that it didn’t come with its own drinking Canteen or bottle, but you can also take that as an advantage as it will let you choose the drinking bottle of your choice. 

Aside from that…

…it also has a 40mm NATO connector, which lets you attach more CBRN gear such as your own proprietary filters, a hose, and many more. 

I also like how although it doesn’t have a full-on visor lens like the others, its lenses are very uniquely designed and allow for a very wide field of view, so you can still stay alert while wearing it. 

Not to mention, it also has a voice membrane that helps to amplify your voice somehow so you can still communicate while wearing the mask. 

And as the icing on top…

…this excellently designed CBRN mask comes with a carrying box and bag that’s designed to preserve your mask for at least 25 years!
