You might’ve thought that you needed to save money to get the best EOTech magnifiers. But – believe it or not – you don’t.

My hunting buddies and I were mind blown by how the Tacticon Falcon V1 performed on the field. We didn’t expect this much quality from one of the most affordable magnifier scopes.

This Tacticon magnifier has super clear imaging. It doesn’t need a lot of adjustments, even at 3X magnification. But if you need it, sharpening its focus is also super easy.

Another quick thing…

Switching from one magnification power to another is as easy as a flip! 

Although, you have to find the right fit for its Picatinny flip mount. The Philips screws come loose, and we only have Allen screwdrivers.

But once you find it, I don’t think there’ll be any more problems.

Also…

The Tacticon Flacon V1 works wonderfully with any red dot sight.

Only, it blurs the red dot a little bit, as usual with red dot magnifiers. But once you find the right adjustments for your particular sight, you’ll be back at near-perfect accuracy.

I’m telling you…

It significantly improved my aim. 

Even beginners will have a blast with the Tacticon Falcon V1! So don’t worry if you’re just starting with mid-range shooting. This magnifier will help you hit the bull’s eye.

Not to mention…

It’s as durable as the expensive magnifiers on the market!

Hunters like us don’t pick the weather. Rain or shine, if it’s the season for bringing those bucks home, we go and take them. And don’t rule out falling and rolling on the ground occasionally.

After all, its accuracy hasn’t wavered, and its focus is still clear.

Most importantly, the exterior is still as good as new, albeit with a few scratches!

… our Best Value, UTG magnifier!

We absolutely love this magnifier because of its surprisingly high accuracy. It improves my aim just like any other magnifier – even the most expensive ones. And my buddies think so too.

The only problem with its imaging is how it falls out of focus at higher magnification power. It gets blurry and hard to sharpen when I use it at 3X.

But the lens is clear, so you can still make the images out. And if you stay at 1X or 2X, you’ll be fine.

Also…

If you have a Sig Sauer RDS, you might want to consider another magnifier. My UTG never paired well with my friend’s Sig. 

But I’m not sure about the other brands because it works great with my Bushnell and other RDS.

Another thing…

One of my friends complained that the weaver mount is hard to flip. It’s a flip-to-side, so it’s supposed to be convenient. 

So I showed them that it locks very securely, and you must unlock it first. You just have to remember it while on the hunt, and it wouldn’t be a problem. The important thing is that it’s stable.

Lastly…

When you use the UTG magnifier, you’ll be surprised by its durability! My UTG survived lots of hunting trips – under the sun, the rain, a pile of hay, and other things. 

It has minor dents and scratches, but it still works great. It’s going to last long, for sure!

The Vortex VMX-3T magnifier’s price is slightly higher than the ones we’ve already covered. But it’s still in the lower part of the price range.

And there’s much to love about it!

First up is its multi-coated lens, which has lots of advantages over other types. It gives a clearer image, more accurate colors, and better lighting.

That’s what made it our Top Pick!

This Vortex magnifier also improved the accuracy of my aim because of its crystal-clear lens. And I observed that even at the highest magnification, it only slightly blurs my RDS.

My friends love using this magnifier, too, because it works well with their RDS. We all use different brands, and none of us had any problems with this magnifier.

Also…

Vortex isn’t cheap when it comes to its hardware material. You can tell by its looks that this one’s durable.

At first, I was a bit annoyed by the screws. They kept on getting loose, and I had to tighten them and re-align the magnifier over and over. In the end, I had to tighten them and adjust my RDS instead.

Besides…

That’s a small price to pay for this magnifier’s advantages.

My Vortex has some scratches after surviving years of hunting. But it’s still working properly. The casing took a beating, but it sure protected the insides.

On top of that…

This is a lightweight magnifier. I get surprised by how it feels – or doesn’t feel – on my rifle whenever I use this. That gives me more control over my firearm and a better aim.

What else would work great with an EOTech holographic sight but an EOTech magnifier, right? So we had to get one even though it’s one of the most expensive magnifiers.

But we’re not disappointed!

The EOTech G33 magnifier worked perfectly with my EOTech holographic weapon sight. And that’s even compared with other EOTech magnifier models.

The images I get with this tool never blur even at the highest magnification. So when I say that this magnifier combo improved my accuracy, that’s an understatement!

But this EOTech magnifier isn’t as accurate when I pair it with my other reflex sights.

My Sig RDS blurs to the right. One of my friends said the same thing happened to his red dots.

Still, we’re all for it because…

Its lens is clear as day, especially because of its adjustable diopter. I’ve used this in cold weather, but the lens is fog proof.

I’ve also used this under the scorching sun, on the coolest night, and even while it’s raining cats and dogs. My EOTech magnifier has seen it all!

And yet…

It’s still intact, albeit a few dents and scratches. But more importantly, it still works as well as new.

The mount is still as easy to flip as it was when I first bought it. And the windage and elevation adjustments are still at the same calibration.

All of those after several months of use and abuse.

But about those things…

I’d say it’s easy to calibrate because the adjustments are smooth. But sometimes, I find it too smooth. Some of my buddies complained about the same thing.

It’s fine while at practice shooting. But it’s different when I’m running around, trying to stalk my   target as quickly as possible. I always turn the knobs a millimeter too much and turn them back the same way.

And another thing…

You might want to lessen the epoxy on the screws. When I replaced the magnifier, I had to drill mine out of the mount. The screws got stuck!

But I got over all those disadvantages over time. It just needs some getting used to.

Overall…

The EOTech G33 magnifier is a great addition to your arsenal. If you don’t mind paying more, you won’t regret it!

When people think about the best red dot magnifiers, they often take the size and weight for granted. But the Sig Sauer Juliet4 didn’t!

Which is why…

This is one of our favorite red dot magnifiers. It works almost the same as others, but its weight sealed the deal for us.

When I use this, it doesn’t feel like I added anything to my red dot or holographic sight.

And it works best with Sig products, but I found that it’s compatible with other brands too. And my EOTech holographic weapon sight is happily married with its Juliet4!

However…

I wouldn’t recommend it with most RDS. Again, Sig RDS is fine. But my friends use different brands, saying that the Sig Sauer Juliet4 magnifier blurs their red dots to the right or left.

That’s a bummer for me because Juliet4 is an expensive find. I hoped it would work with all – not just most of – my sights.

Still, it’s highly recommendable.

You can’t just pass up a 4X EOTech magnifier, especially if you’re a fan of long-range shooting. This will improve the accuracy of your shot, that’s for sure!

And rest assured, this guy can take a beating – lots of them…

My buddies and I hunt in all weather conditions and on any terrain. My Juliet4 survived all of them! 

But it does have a small crack, and the adjustments loosened up, but none of those are significant. It still works fine and will surely last long.

This red dot sight and magnifier combo comes at an affordable price. So, technically, it’s one of the cheapest on the market.

But that’s not all there is to it!

If you use both tools together, your aim will improve by a hundred percent! 

Well, maybe I’m exaggerating… But after getting the hang of this pair, I’ve hit the bull’s eye almost a hundred percent of the time. I can only count with my hands the number of times I missed – by a few millimeters, at that.

Yet, there’s a bummer…

That was during the target shooting. The first time I took this out during the hunting season, my adjustments seemed to be always off.

Soon, I realized that the magnifier wasn’t properly aligned with my Sig RDS. So I switched to my EOTech holographic sight just to see if it worked – and it did.

But then, another problem arose. All the running and stalking loosened up my AT3’s screws!

So…

Here’s what you must do before you take the AT3 magnifier to the field:

Pair it with either the RDS that comes with it or an EOTech sight. And make sure that the screws are tightened to their limits. Or you can replace the screws altogether – up to you.

I’m telling you…

Don’t take it too lightly. My AT3 magnifier rolled off my rifle’s rail. It survived, mind you, but not without a huge crack.

Now, thankfully, it’s still functioning. But it’s not as good-looking as it was before.

But if you do those precautions, you wouldn’t have the same problems I had.

And even better…

You’ll enjoy the clear lenses that won’t fog up whatever the weather. It’s easy to adjust the focus and won’t blur your red dot.

So, all things considered, this magnifier is a steal!

This Bushnell magnifier is made for Bushnell sights. But surprisingly, it works great with my Sig and EOTech too!

My friends – all using different brands – are equally impressed.

But that’s not all…

We love this Bushnell magnifier because it is easy to mount, adjust, focus, and align. After practicing it for weeks, I can now do all those in less than a minute.

But on the field, it takes me just a little bit more. Still, even with moving targets, it takes me only a moment to find my target and lock-in.

Thanks to its fully-coated lens!

Again, this feature allows better light transmission through the lenses. That’s why I love using this when I’m hunting at dusk. 

I see pretty clearly through my Bushnell, even in low-light conditions.

The only reason that I don’t pick this up more often is that it’s a bit heavy on my rifle. And I don’t understand why, since this magnifier is made of plastic instead of metal.

In fact…

It’s too flimsy for my taste. I accidentally dropped it while on the run, and when I picked it up, a part of the case was missing. But the functionality wasn’t affected, which was a good sign.

I just make sure to hold it more carefully while I mount it. And once mounted, not even a bear can take it off!

This Bushnell’s flip mount is secure and stable – even to a fault. But it’s either too loose or too tight – you choose.

But I don’t mind that, because…

You can flip this magnifier either to the right or to the left. So, there’s no need for reverse mount and whatnot!

I’m left-handed, so this is a huge breath of fresh air.

And the best part is…

This is one affordable magnifier! I don’t have to tell you how much of a steal it is…

Now, let’s get down the price range ladder, shall we? There still are cheap magnifiers that are worth mentioning.

Take this Sightmark T-3, for example…

I love that it’s compatible with my EOTech sight, just like any of my EOTech magnifiers. But even more impressive is how it works with my Aimpoint. That doesn’t come as easily.

At first, I thought it wouldn’t work because it always seemed inaccurate. But one of my friends told me that my only problem was laziness. 

It needs to be calibrated now and then, especially because its adjustable diopter, windage, elevation, and eye relief are sensitive.

Speaking of which…

The Sightmark T-3 magnifier’s adjustable eye relief is quite a relief, for lack of a better term. 

My friends and I exchange tools all the time. And it’s part of our review process. So all of us prefer different distances between our eyes and the lens. So this is a most welcome feature.

Another thing…

You’ll be pleased to know that there’s no sweat in mounting and operating the Sightmark T-3. The screws are just fine, the mount design is ambidextrous, and it works with most sights.

I just found that it’s less stable than what I’m used to. Maybe that’s one of the things affecting the calibration.

Also…

This is an affordable tool, so don’t expect it to be that durable. I did and was slightly disappointed.

It rolled out of the mount as I flipped it out of the way of my RDS during short-range shooting. And the ends chipped off immediately.

Good thing it didn’t crack the lenses, and it still works the same way.

I’m especially fond of these lenses too!

You’re going to love it as well. It’s so clear and visible, even at maximum magnification. And it doesn’t blur the red dot, even for a bit.

But most importantly, its accuracy is impressive after you’ve adjusted it properly. It improved my aim, almost like my other EOTech magnifiers.

The first thing I noticed about the Feyachi M36 magnifier is its size and weight. It doesn’t look and feel like much, to be honest.

But after trying it on the ronge…

I was so wrong to underestimate it. My Feyachi M36 turned out to have one of the clearest and most visible lenses I’ve ever tried!

They’re multi-coated, meaning they can transmit light better and give you more accurate colors. This is great for low-light hunting.

Only…

Its eye relief can only go up to a little over three inches. I’d prefer further, but this one depends on the user.

What’s more concerning is how hard it is to calibrate and align when paired with some RDS. It works with EOTech, but not my Sig.

But the more important thing is…

It pairs wonderfully with my EOTech sights. My Feyachi M36 keeps my sight’s accuracy and high-quality performance as it magnifies the red dot.

Plus, it doesn’t weigh my rifle down too much!

Yet, there’s a price to pay…

It’s not the most durable magnifier out there. But I guess I’ve expected it for a tool of such a cheap price.

It’s just a bummer because we’ve tried products that cost even less but are more durable by a hundred percent.

Still…

The necessary pros and features are there. So if you’re on a budget, the Feyachi M36 should be on your radar!
